RESAAS was designed to increase user productivity through better communication and collaboration within the real estate industry.
The target market of RESASS, of course, is real estate professionals. The tools and usage of the site are only made available exclusively to owners of real estate brokerage firms and brokers, licensed real estate agents and realtors. RESAAS has grown to have over 350,000 real estate professionals using the platform in over 110 countries, and is available in more than 25 languages .
Real estate professionals use the social network to market their listings, make connections with agents to conduct referrals, keep up with the latest real estate industry news, and answer prospective clients’ questions to generate leads .

I am very impressed by RESAAS. As a social network that only launched in 2013 it has grown to be hugely successful in a short amount of time for a niche network. While other real estate social networks, such as Glozal, exist, RESAAS is highly superior in usability, tools and content produced. RESAAS has a large user base, making it the ideal location for real estate professionals to connect with each other. The social network is educational and informative, giving professionals industry updates and tips, which I think is a beneficial feature.
RESAAS incorporates location into its services, as it allows users to join groups and be informed about listings in their area. Proximity marketing could be incorporated into the real estate industry by having real estate professionals and clients who looking to buy be alerted and informed when they are in a close proximity of a property that is for sale. This would be an incredible tool for marketing properties.
Many social channels can work well with RESAAS, but I think the most beneficial would be Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram. Pinterest, a social channel that people already turn to for home décor inspiration and advice, is a great place for RESAAS users to also be sharing images and information of their listings. Facebook, with is professional pages, is another important platform for real estate professionals to be sharing their listings. Lastly, the image-heavy platform, Instagram, is a beneficial location for brokers to be posting high quality, enticing images of their listings. Along with newspaper listings, industry magazines and online advertisements, real estate professionals can build an impressive IMC plan with RESAAS as an important aspect.
